This beer poured a bright golden color with a small foamy white head that left minimal lacing. The aroma was pine, citrus and tropical fruit. The flavor was tangy and grainy with pine and tropical fruit. Medium length finish. Medium body.

First let me tell you this was a draft at puff & stuff. They couldn't tell me if it was this or the new bruxland. You see, on the menu it said new bruxland sour IPA and the tap handle said lab rat and nobody knew WTF was going on. So here be it. Slight pale haze. Mild metallic tart nose. Taste is initially tart but that fades immediately to a big giant astringent whatever. Big astringent bullshit sets in riught away. Big mess. Did somebody try an experiment and it didn't work out and they said "just sellit" ? Rude, nasty beer masquerades as a sour? NO WAY. Rude & nasty. Happy BS fer sher. Stupid ass attempt at a sour ale. Its not even good enough to say its a clean IPA. WTF reprise. Not a good example of a clean fresh sour at all. Get lost.

Little disappointing after the last beer, though still very good.

Sampled on draft this beer poured a black color with a small foamy tan head that left decent lacing. The aroma was sweet and toasty with cocoa. The flavor was bitterish with chocolate, toasty malts and strawberry. Long finish. Moderately full bodied. Pleasant.

12oz can into Free State tulip/snifter glass. Sometimes a beer surprises you, in an enjoyable way. Pours with a loud white head that dies almost instantly leaving no trace behind. Color is thick red. Gets hazy. Aroma is tangerine toffee, chewy malts, fruity with not unappealing spices. I don't like spices usually. Its a fruity (tangerine), malty (thick fruit cake), and moderate spices. Flavor is similar and deliciously sweet without being sugary. Very much like a baked treat in a beer. It works well for me.

Sampled on draft this beer poured a hazy yellow color with a huge foamy white head that lingered and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was very sour and yeasty with a pickle brine note. The flavor was very sour, tart and chalky with a moderate pickle brine presence. Long finish. Medium body. Odd.
