Bottled. A red-brown beer with a lazing off-white head. The aroma has notes is quite smoky combined with roasted malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of smoke, rope, and roasted malt, which lends it a bit of acidity, leading to a dry woody and smoky finish.

Bottle 50cl.Clear medium red brown color with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy chocolate, cacao, nesquick, vanilla. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20090620]

Flaske 0,5l. Svart som natta. Høyt kremaktig skum med litt farge. Litt karamell i aromaen. Avrundet smak: Litt karamell, sjokolade og lakris. Svakt bitter ettersmak. Godt!

Flaske 0,5l. Kullsvart. OK skumdannelse. Svak behagelig røykaroma. Avrundet smak. Fortsatt røyk men med undertoner av bær, sjokolade og kaffe. Svakt bitter ettersmak. Et veldig godt avstemt røykøl!

Bottle from Tbone, thanks! Dark brown color. Milk chocolate in the aroma. Grainy sweet flavor with milk chocolate and a hint of licorice. Thin. Long aftertaste with cheap milk chocolate (Koetjesrepen). Hint of caramel. Decent.

(Draught at SOPP’09) Yellow and clear. Medium sized and very quickly disappearing head. Peas and fruitiness in aroma. Light and dryish palate with medium carbonation. Lightly malts, grass, bitterness and fruitiness in taste. Grassy aftertaste.

Draught@SOPP. Clear yellow color, small white head. Light leafy hoppy aroma, also sweetish. Pale malty, sweet, almost sugary malt profile. Light fruity hops. This first time, it’s very close to VASP Pale ale.

bottle shard by faroeviking pitch black, thick snooth head. aroma of roasted stuff, coffee, chocolate, smoked notes. flavor is roeasted or smoked meat, round, roeasted bmalts, caramel. this beer is somewhere between roasted and smoked, and the grill that they used probably did have some really spicy beefs going on.

Bottle, 4.5%. Citric aroma, a little wheat and plastic. Cloudy grey amber colour. Very small white head. The flavour is slightly sweet, has a little caramel. Hint of clove and plastic. Not so refreshing or nice.
