(Draught at HBF2009) Dark reddish brown and hazy. Small tan coloured head. Smokw, juniper and tar in aroma. Medium bodied and lightly dry palate with medium carbonation. Smoke, tar, juniper, lightly sweetness, liquorice, little bit of grass and bitterness in taste. Smoky and bitter aftertaste.

Draught@HBF2009. Hazy yellowish orange colour, small white head. Aroma is wheat, citrus and some spices. Flavour is wheat, banana, some herbs and earth.

Bottled@HBF2009. Dark reddish color, small off-white head. Intensive Bamberg smokey nose. Sweet, liquerish palate. Lingering smokeyness. Some alcohol, but less than 9% indicates. I can’t find much juniper here, slightly woody bitterness. This is quite like more powerful Prykmestar Savu.

Bottled (BB 10/2009). Hazy lemonade orange color, mostly vanishing white head. Banana and banana candy aroma with wheat grainy notes. Palate is quite watery - 4.5% is probably a bit too low for a good hefeweizen. Toasted banana, light orange peel fruityness. No yeast at the bottom of the bottle. Flavors are ok, but mouthfeel is quite thin and empty. Karhupanimo’s Kesäyö beats this hands down. (7/3/7/2/11 3.0). Re-rated bottle

Bottled, thanks oh6gdx! Clear nut brown, small head. Behind the chocolatey nose lies a thin and sharp barren body. Metallic edges grow on the chocolate instead of bitterness. Has the flavours, but desperately needs drinkability.
