SWING-TOP 1L. Hazy amber, smallish tan head. The diacetyl from the aroma quickly goes away, leaving room for caramel baked apples, with almonds, raisins and cinnamon. The flavour is similar, with a silky smooth mouthfeel and almost total lack of hop bitterness. Not bad.

Not that bad... up from 2,9 to 3,1. Same deScription.
SWING-TOP 1L. Hazy golden-amber, smallish frothy head. The aroma starts poorly - plain pork fat (lard). Fortunately, after aerating for a few minutes, you get some basic malt sweetness and wheat/rye spiciness. At some point, the diacetil blends with the rye smelling like dried tomatoes. The taste has some diacetyl too, some malt sweetness, getting more wheaty and spicy with time, resembling a flat weissbier. Almost no hops. Well, it is a idiosyncratic beer for sure.

SWING-TOP 1L. Hazy red, tan frothy head. Aroma of caramel, cherries, spicy hops, dry leaves. Some smoked cheese far behind. The flavour is similar, fruity with a zesty bitter finish. Smooth, silky mouthfeel. Despite the rustic feel to it, it feels quite clean.

SWING-TOP 1L. Cloudy orange, small tan head. Strong spicy herbal aroma, some biscuit malts too, as well as overripe fruit. The taste is light sweet, fruity with a bold zesty bitterness. Though it has quite a rustic feel to it, and low carbonation, it is quite clean with a soft mouthfeel.

Tap from Šnekutis, Užupio, Vilnius. Dark golden, slightly hazy with a large (it’s a new barrel) but quickly dissipating white head. Metallic and cereal aroma... doesn’t quite smell like a beer. And... it doesn’t quite taste like one either. An almost salty metallic bittersweet with a reasonably short finish. Iced tea and papaya notes, but also slightly tainted water? I’ve had worse, but this doesn’t work at all.
