Bottle. A bit cloudy, copper body with a huge beige head leaving nice lacings. Piney and citrusy hops with some resin, and sweetness to balance the aroma. Hops dominates the flavor, with pine and citrus, as well as sweetness. Full-bodied beer with a lasting citrus- and pine-hoppy finish. Some sweetness as well. An excellent choice for bottling their first beer. (070407)

Cask. A dark amber beer with a slight haze under a lazing orange head. The aroma is light with notes of malt, caramel, and berries. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of caramel, brown sugar, and a mixture of fruits and berries, on a complex malt back ground, leading to a slightly bitter end with the faintest hints of chocolate.

Draft. A hazy orange beer with a huge light orange head. The aroma is sweet hoppy with light notes of grass, yeast, and elderberry flowers. The flavor is sweet malty and rather hoppy with notes of flowers and especially elderberry flowers, leading to a rather bitter end - and think, it is only 25 IBU’s. I find the body a bit thin.

Draft. A hazy dark amber beer with a huge dark beige head. The aroma is sweet hoppy with notes of caramel, and flowers, as well as light notes of citrus. The flavor is sweet malty with quite strong citrus and grassy hop notes, on a back ground with a dry caramel note, leading to a dry bitter end where the citrus note still lingers in the cheeks. The hops makes it quite refreshing.

(On tap) Clear, warm amber colour with a creamy, off-white head leaving a broad curtain of laces. Somewhat unclean malt aroma with a whiff of caramel. Medium body, quite fruity with a touch of nuts. But everything is overpowered by an extreme bitterness - way too much as it is a raw and unrefined bitterness. 090207

(On tap) Clear, deep golden with a white head. Aroma of sweet malt but also some aroma hoppiness. Medium-bodied with a good malt base and a somewhat sharp, underlying tang - the typical Brewpub house character. Distinctly bitter hop finish. 090207

Draft at the brewpub. An unclear orange-amber beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet malty with light notes of phenol, sulphur, and wheat. While the flavor is sweet malty with quite a lot of wheat and oranges, but also not so nice notes of phenol, sulphur, and plastic, as well as hints of acidity, leading to a dry wheaty finish where notes of banana comes thru. Not my cup of tea.
