Description
Une Anneé, an Independent Craft Brewery, was born, in 2013, on the near west side of Chicago, with the quest of making fine Belgian inspired ales for all beer lovers. Founded by architect and Chicago native, Jerry Nelson, Une Anneé, has expanded it’s offerings over the years with an emphasis on fruited and unfruited American Wile Ales and Barrel Aged Stouts. In 2017, the brewery moved to neighboring Chicago suburb, Niles, IL and expanded to include a taproom. The working brewery in the background lends a hand to creating a laid back atmosphere where you can sit back and enjoy some of your favorite craft beers on tap.

Bottle. Pours a hazy gold with small off white head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is papaya juice and oak. Thin body, strong papaya, lemon, nice sourness, enjoyed this.

Coconut front, but mixes well with the tart and pineapple, great stuff! Very sour and tart but mellowed by the coconut.

Great Taste of the Midwest 2017. This looks like strawberry with a hazy red color. Prominent flavors of strawberry and rhubarb with moderate to high acidity and sourness. I liked this a lot.

Pale blond color, hazy. The aroma is penetrating, some foot, fruit, peach, citrus. Light body, very dry, moderate acidity, lemony character, simple.
Ok Sour, not much going on.

Lively and smooth sour, lots of carbonation, tons of passion fruit on the nose, tart and dry feel.

I know it's old, but that chunk of fuck know what that poured into the glass was not working for me at all. I've never actually seen anything like it before, and it looked gross. The colour is fine, blond and cloudy. No head. The aroma is peachy, shows some tartness. Tart, peachy, actually good despite looking vile. I'm down - some nice barrel, some nice fruit, and I like the tartness, too.
