Part of the flight at the Smokehous, Chisinau. Pours fairly clear orange golden color, topped with a thin off-white head. Peachy fruity nose. Gentle bitterness with fruity sweetness. Lighter body and short afetrtaste. Delightful.

From a supermarket in Chisinau. Pours clear golden color, topped with medium small white, foamy head. Bready nose, actually quite nice. Slightly bready sweet start with medium bitterness. Watery body and metallic aftertaste. Passable.

Bottle from supermarket in Chisinau. Pours clear yellow golden, small white foamy head. Bready nose with some lemony scent. Sweet and quite bready. Metallic bitterness in finish. Medium bodied. Typical mscro stuff.

PET 1,5L. Hazy straw, soapy white head. Grassy hops, fresh cut grass, a hint of lemon, some palest malts with a slight boiled cereal note as well as something yeasty. Dry taste, grassy hops with a light clean bitterness, next to no malts. Crisp yet soft mouthfeel. Pretty clean, apart from that yeasty unfresh notes that (I assume) the pasteurization is to blame for. Overall, quite nice and quenching.

Dieses Bier ist ein unpasteurisiertes Helles, das auch als Craftbier auf dem Etikett benannt ist. Es hat eine buttrige Note, welche sich vom Einstieg bis zum Abgang durchzieht. Es mag keinen faden Massengeschmack haben, aber der komische Geschmack, den es hat, ist auch nicht besser.

Das Bier mit dem zweisprachigen Etikett (auch unter russ. Бочковое zu finden) zeigt ein Panorama der Altstadt von München mit der Frauenkirche und schneebedeckten Gipfeln im Hintergrund (so stellt man sich im flachen, sumpfigen Moldawien wohl Bayern vor) und rühmt sich nach dem "bavareze Reinheitsgebot din 1516" biologisch gebraut worden zu sein. Normalerweise finde ich Bio-Bier super, aber bei diesem hätte zumindest eine Pasteurisierung gut getan. Es hat einen intensiven Getreidegeschmack und -geruch, allerdings solches Getreide, das einen Tag als EInstreu für einen Kuhstall dienen musste. Der Hopfen unterstreicht bei diesem Bier keinen feinen Geschmack; er macht den Gammel-Geschmack noch unangenehmer. Ein netter Versuch ein biologisches Bier in dieser Gegend auf den Markt zu bringen; aber da ist die Technologie nicht reif.

Unter dem Namen "110 Ale - Malt & Hamel" feiert die Brauerei seit 2016 das 110-jährige Jubiläum der Brauerei. Es handelt sich um ein goldfarbenes Gebräu ohne viel Schaum. Der Geschmack ist eine Mischung aus billigen Ostblockbier und miesem Ale. Dazu kommt ein buttriger Stich, der das ganze zu einem widerlichen Mischmasch macht. Schon lange kein so mieses Bier getrunken, das nicht dezitiert eine Billig-Plörre war. Jedweder frische herbe Geschmack ist einfach nur bitter, ohe irgedwelche feinen Aromen. Da greife sogar ich lieber zum Import-Bier aus England.

KEG (Unpasteurized). Cloudy golden, white head. Quite hoppy, some tropical fruit and green grass, a tad bready doughy. Clean hoppy taste, light citrus and lots of grass, supporting malts, light to moderate resiny and grassy bitterness. Quite nice, and much better than the pasteurized PETs. 6-4-6-4-14=3,4
PET 1L (Pasteurized). Cloudy orange, off-white head. Smells of grassy vegetal hops, light citrus, quite doughy and yeasty. Similar taste - hoppy and yeasty - fresh mown grass, some wormwood and garlic borderline medicinal, light vegetal bitterness. Chewy body, firm carbonation. Apart from the weird hops, it’s pretty decent. 5-4-6-4-12=3,1

PET 1L. Clear deep mahogany, small diminishing beige head. Smells like sugar glazed ginger bread, smoky burnt sugar. Super sweet dark sugar taste, ginger bread, carbonic acid. The actual flavour profile is not bad, but the sweetness is through the roof.
