18/10/2019. Tap, part of their taster board, at Astra Brauerei St. Pauli, Hamburg. Poured clear golden with an off-white fluffy head. Aroma of malt, hops, citrus and grain. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily watery texture, soft carbonation.

*On tap @ Astra St. Pauli. Nice roasted malty caramel. Grainy with parts of roasted bitterness. Round and smooth with a nice roasted body. Not too deep, but nice balanced. Sessionable.

On tap @ Astra St. Pauli. Smooth grainy beginning. Malty with hints of caramel. Not too deep with grainy parts. Smooth sessionable with hints of Heller Bock aroma. Crisp and moderate bitter with dry caramel in the end, but all in all not too deep.

A unique beer, the great thing they did is balance the different flavours. Just a little pepper, very crisp and dry beer. Astra brauerei hamburg

Certainly hides the 9% abv well. Clean, with a big roasty sweet body. I would have never guessed it as a weizenbock. Good beer. Astra brauerei Hamburg
