Bottle drunk on the roof of our lodging in the Spanish quarter in Naples, after hooking on Capri carrying a rather heavy toddler up 300 vertical meters on my back. I'm looking at Vesuvius and the Presepe di Pasqua and it's a pretty stunning view. The beer, medium brown hazy, nice creamy head, has a supreme After Eight minty cacao nose. Flavor is a bit more called mixing light coffee-ish roasted notes with lightly minty, barely salty cocoa. Wow, what an interesting beer for Fastenzeit!

0,33 l bottle. Black in the glass, one finger steady beige foamy head. Yes, a lot of After Eight on the nose. Peppermint with choco. Love this for roundabout 50 years. My family hates it. Taste starts also with choco peppermint, increasing dry malty with some bitterness. Low carbonated .Would like to see it as a Stout. Fun stuff.

On tap. Deep Black color and a nice tan head. Yes, time für sweets. Like liquid After Eight. Chocolate, roasty malts and Lots of peppermint. Decent hoppy finish.

330ml bottle. Opalescent, dark ruby colour with small, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, beige head. Sweet-ish, caramel malty and minimally yeasty fruity aroma, hints of toffee and cherry. Taste is sweet-ish, caramel malty and slightly yeasty fruity, hints of dried fruit, cherry, a touch of toffee, bitter hoppy counterpart. Dissolved sugar enriched, watery texture, minimally cloying palate, medium, prickly carbonation. Sweet-ish and bitter, rather simple - so-so.
