Bottle. A dark brown beer with a small, dense, dark beige head. A bit alcoholic aroma, with roasted malts, some spiced hints, a touch of dark dried fruit and some burnt hints. It's full bodied and softly carbonated, quite smooth and dry, with a decent bitterness. Roasted malts, toast, coffee grit hints, some dark chocolate and bonfire in the flavor. Piney hints. Lasting finish. A bit too dry, but sure fine. 240907

Can. A big, creamy beige head leaves lacing over an unclear brown body. Chocolate, roasted malts, coffee and a touch of dark dried fruit in the aroma. Some fruityness. It's medium bodied and soft on the palate, lightly bittered, with a quite malty flavor. Dark dried fruit, caramel, some roasted malts and chocolate in the flavor. Medium length finish. Can, at Tradition. An almost black one, with a small beige head. Roasted, lightly burnt aroma with some dark chocolate and coffee grit. Hints of prune. It's full bodied and nicely carbonated, quite dry and lightly warming. Roasted malts, toffee and burnt malts in the flavor, some sweetness and a suitable bitterness level. Dark dried fruit and brown sugar towards the finish. A quite classic imperial stout that gets too sweetish toffee-ish with some warmth. 240723

(Bottle) Black colour with brief, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with toasted oats, coconut, orange peel, rum, chocolate and coffee. Malty, roasted taste with notes of dark chocolate, coffee, oak wood, rum, dark bread, tobacco, raisins, orange, nuts, coconut and a balanced roasty bitterness in the finish. Almost full body, sweet. Tasty and harmonious, with chocolate, coconut and a touch of rum. Very nice.
