hazy pale yellow colour, large white head, which lasts for a few minutes; aroma of grainy-wet wheaty, dough, some grassy and moldy notes; taste of malty sweetness, herbal hoppy and some spicy-peppery notes; easy to drink - and rather a kellerbier than an American pale lager considering its style

31-12-20 // 330ml bottle from Koelschtrinker. Taster. Clear dark amber. Beige head. Nose is light cheesy malty? But taste is actually quite okay. Boring but okay. Light sweet malty. A bit warery light. Minimal dark roast malts. --- Beer merged from original tick of Farmer Dunkel on 31 Dec 2020 at 18:43 - Score: 5. 330ml bottle courtesy of Koelschtrinker - many thanks. Pours dark brown/mahogany, small beige head. Aroma of toasted malts and caramel with a faint floral hop. Taste is the same, quite sweet, moderate body and carbonation, mild bitterness in the finish. A very simple dunkel, not many flavour notes but its nicely balanced.
