Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet malty combined with spicy and flower hop notes and a light touch of heather honey. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of flowery hops and heather honey. The body is slightly thin.

Bottled. Hazy golden colour, small white head. Aroma is honey, heather and some bittering hops. Flavour is hops, honey, heather and a lot of herbal notes. Not that exciting, but nice to drink still.

Yellow with a big white head. Lots of heather aroma, very herbal with a hint of honey too(!) Sweet and rather plain honey-beer flavour.

Bottle @ Chris_o shindig 2007. Unclear medium yellow amber color with a small, fair lacing, fully diminishing, light brown head. Aroma is honey, heather-honey. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is watey, carbonation is soft.

Bottle at Chris_o Shindig. Never heard of this brewery before. Bottle conditioned ale. Gold, lasting beige head. Rather lovely. Tastes like a dark beer. Fragrant. Really good. I like it. Fragrant with good heather notes.

Bottle (purchased in Pwllheli): Cloudy with clumps of yeast, amber coloured, small white stable murky off-white layer; distinctive floral hoppy nose with traces of liquorice; medium bodied, soloid sweet-bitter flavour, becoming drier towards the lingering hoppy and lightly malty and sourish ending. A well crafted brew........

(bottle) Hazy, murky amber coloured hue with yeast floaties and a medium-sized yellowish foamy head. Aromatic, slightly sweet malty, shy fruity nose with woody hops and liquorice. Bitter flavour, medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Initially toast-malty with liquorice and a touch of caramel and spicy hoppy notes; dry, bittersweet, slightly malty and pleasantly hoppy finish.

Bottle: Hazy, amber to orangey coloured, small stable creamy off-white head; moderate, mainly herbal-hoppy nose, slightly metallic with a faint sweetish fruitiness in the background; moderate bitter-sweetish flavour, soft MF, light bodied; herbal, spicy, hoppy finish with a sweetish fruity touch and a very faint acidity. Easily drinkable, friedly Ale.............

Bottle (purchased at Thirst for Beer, Pwllheli): Near black coloured...with a small tanned head; bisquity roasted barley nose with a bit of vinous fruit; sweetish, slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied; a bit drier, roasty bitter finish with the same hint of fruit and traces of coffee or cacao. A pleasant Stout, a bit on the sweet side.......

Bottle, picked up at Tuckers Maltings, Newton Abbott 14-11-06. Hazy amber coloured beer with a good citrusy bite, having had this so soon after the Edwin Tuckers East India IPA which was very good I was expecting this to be a case of ’after the Lord Mayors show’ but I was pleasantly suprised by this plucky IPA which was reasonably hoppy, had a good aroma and drank very well indeed.
