Description
It all started with eight visionary men who founded the “Vereinsbrauerei Berliner Gastwirte zu Berlin AG” on February 1st, 1872 in Rixdorf. They established a modern brewery within one year, which was opened on July 19, 1873. The first public serving takes place on this day. In 1890 the brewery decides, as one of the first breweries in Germany, to brew a Pilsen beer. It is called - based on its southern German relatives - "Berliner Kindl". In 1910 the brewery is renamed "Berliner Kindl Brauerei AG". In 2006 Berliner Kindl returns to its former location in the east of Berlin. The entire range is now brewed in the Berliner Kindl Schultheiss brewery in Lichtenberg.

The bottle looks not bad, the beer in the glass also. But a very nasty sourish aroma. Tastes the same. Simply too sourish. Not a good beer.

The bottle looks usual, the beer in the glass also. Nothing special. The beer tastes the same. Much too sourish beginning, ends nearly washy. Not a good beer.

The bottle looks good, not overloaded. The beer in the glass looks also finde. Tastes mild in the beginning, turns then spicy. Fine finish - a good beer.

The bottle looks good, a little bit simple, but good. The beer in the glass also, not very much foam. The beer is very vapid, almost washy. Nevertheless drinkable. An average beer.

The bottle looks terrible and the beer tastes the same. Too chemical, really nasty. It’s hard to empty the bottle.

The bottle looks not so good, too pink I think. The beer smells and tastes terrible - not better than without raspberries.

A very famous beer. But I don’t like it. It’s terrible sourish, nearly undrinkable. I will never drink it again.

33 cL bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a huge white head. Wheat and slight acidic nose. Flavour is citric/acidic with a mellow wheat note, has a mild malt base too. Finish is much the same way, not unpleasant. I’ve had this in Berlin as well, pure - which raised an eyebrow.

Kein guter Vertreter seiner Sorte. Test vom 4.12.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 10,8,7,6,5,7 - 7,20
