Clear, bright, pale blond colour. Aroma is quite earthy. Although mild in flavour it’s a pleasant drink with a very smooth texture. Light malt and rye flavours. Low bitterness.

Clear brown colour, off-white head. Aroma of caramel, sweet malts and bubblegum. Sweet flavour, caramel, hint of cloves and light banana. Sweet finish. For me it’s too sweet, but it’s quite well made so I can see others might enjoy it.

Hazy pale yellow colour, white head. Aroma of yeast, wheat, apricot and light citrus. Quite noticeable dirty drain. Light sour wheat flavour, bitter hop touch. Finish yeast and citrus. As ’Schoentje’.

Tap @ DDDH, medium sample. Hazy copper color, medium off-white head. Aroma of caramel, hint of chocolate, bit nutty, some spicy yeast. Bit sweet in taste. Quite typical dubbel, nothing special.

Tap @ De Drie Dorstige Herten. Hazy light brown colour, with an off-white head. Nose is malty, nutty, caramel. Flavour is toasted amlts, caramel and nutty. Fairly sweet and slightly bitter finish.

mooi donker robijnrood met minimale witte kraag. Het aroma is fruitig en zuurstokzoet. behoorlijk honing zoet, zacht, caramel, zacht/mild, matig bitter die ook in de afdronk blijft hangen, rozijn en donker fruit en verder redelijk kruidig. Bottle 330ml. @ [ The Danish Summer Gathering, TSODRBSG13 ].Clear medium to dark amber colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel,malt extract, sugar, chocolate notes. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, plastic, malt extract. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130831]

Bottle sample at PWBF’14. Brown colour, beige head. Aroma is malty, dusty, sweet, cocoa, dark fruits. Flavour is quite sweet, dark fruits, alcohol, malts, bread, light-bitter finish. Medium-bodied at best.
