On tap pours out dark brown almost black topped with a tan head. Nose is nice sweet chocolate roast malts and some ash. Taste is more of the nice sweet chocolate roast malts ash notes.

Sample at the taproom. Dark brown color with a medium creamy beige head that recedes gradually to a film. Patchy lacing. Roasted malt, vanilla and coffee aroma. Medium body with flavors of roast malt, chocolate, vanilla and coffee. The finish is roasty with a vanilla mocha aftertaste. Above average overall.

Sample at the taproom. This beer is a dark copper color with a medium off-white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Partial sheets of lacing. Fruit, hops and rye aroma. Light to medium body with flavors of rye malt, hops and fruit. The finish is lightly spicy rye and grain. Decent overall.

Sample at the taproom. Dark brown color with some amber around the edges, and a medium foamy tan head that recedes gradually to a dense film. Small patches of lacing. Roast malt, chocolate and coffee aroma. Light-bodied with a roasty malt and coffee character, with some cocoa in the background. The finish is sweet and creamy with a chocolate malt aftertaste. Decent overall.

Light-bodied with flavors of grassy hops, toasted malt, honey and a bit of fruit. The finish is mildly bitter with a short grassy hop aftertaste. Decent overall.
