Cask at the Pup and Duckling, Solihull. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a lasting frothy off-white head. The aroma is roasty malt, light caramel. The flavour is moderate liqourice bitter, with a smooth, roasty, liqourice, yeasty, light floral hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Growler from the Pup and Duckling, Solihull. Poured a hazy light amber colour with a bubbly white head. The aroma is malt, light citrus fruit notes, light woody hop. The flavour is moderate to light bitter, with a light, slightly watery, crisp, light biscuit malt, light woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Growler from the Pup and Duckling, Solihull. Poured a hazy reddish amber colour with a bubbly white head. The aroma is malt, big raspberries. The flavour is moderate sweet and bitter, with a smooth, nicely rounded, juicy fruit, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Rather a lot of fruit and a little on the sweet side, but very enjoyable and good for a session.
