On tap at Farmhouse Fest 2023, pours a hazy dark orange with a tiny white head. Aroma brings out apple core, some rotting notes, and wild yeast. Flavour is confused, with apple core, wild yeast, and earthiness. Totally confused and muddled. Incompetent mess of a beer.

A taster shared with Josh, Matt, Phill, and Ryan during FHF with priceless Rachel's (yup, again!) help in organizing all the mess with glasses. Appearance: a bit hazy copper. Aroma: berries, some nice herbs. Taste: same. Overall: ok.

Dark red-brown with lots of head. Lots of fruitiness, dates, plums, a bit of demerara sugar. Good complexity here. The alcohol splashes in, the body is full, this is good shit.

Amber colour, just a slight haze. Thin head. Vinous, estery aroma. Slight tartness, nice vinous accent, well balanced with mellow biscuity malts.

Hazy, darkish blonde, thin head. Light body, gentle mango fruitiness, kind of a refreshing backdrop.

Dark brown. Thin head. Big leafy, grapefruity hops on the nose with toast and light molasses. Lots of grapefruit so you think it'll be bitter but it's only lightly so. Soft malts, mellow dark sugars. Bitter towards the finish. Full body. This might be my favourite Jackknife beer so far.

On tap at Main Street, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma brings out a robust mix of roasted malt and big piney, earthy hops. Flavour is rich and forceful, with a huge roasted malt character that gives way to an assertive piney, almost fruity like hop character. Forceful yet surprisingly brilliantly balanced. Very low bitterness on the finish. This is really well-constructed.
