Bottle, almost seven years past bb-date. Thanks MiP. Pours very dark brown, almost no head. Malty, sherry-like aroma. Deep, aromatic malt taste, prunes perhaps. Smooth, very low carb, finish is a little sticky. Very good!

Bottle, 0.33l, courtesy of CanCrusher. Clear dark brown color with small, fully diminishing frothy light brown head and sparkling appearance. Aroma of caramel, dark fruits, herbs and mild medicine notes. Taste starts with sweet caramel malt, mollasses and burnt sugar, follows by mild fruitiness, then warming alcohol dominates, while finish is moderate bitter. Medium to full body, oily texture and lively carbonation in palate. Super strong, gets more vinous characteristics when being warmed for 15 or more minutes...

Bottle, thanks my danish secret santa, stable creamy mocha head, opaque dark brown colour, aroma of honey and brown sugar, flavour of honey, stale bread and wet wood, very sweet and a little cloying with no bitterness. Interesting but not my kind of tipple.

On tap at Christian Firtal (again). Golden with a medium, white head. Malty aroma, with bread crust and toffee, spicy hops and a hint of diacetyl. Sweetish malty and spicy hoppy flavour

Bottle. Pours clear amber with airy off-white head. Malty and grainy flavour, with touches of roast and, above all, alcohol. Sweet, malty flavour, with nut ty and grainy touches. Rough finish. Potent but OK. More like a Doppelbock than an SPL. Fortunately.

Clear and golden. Short-lasting head. Light and fruity pilsner aroma. Belgian triple and strong pilsner-like in taste.
