Bottle from somewhere in Copenhagen. Ruby, thin lasting tan head. it’s a malty fruity drink. Bit sweet. It’s a bit odd, but as a low alcohol beer, it’s alright. Not too sweet, some hop sting on the end. It’s a bit like a malty cola.

Bottle from some shop in Copenhagen. Drank at the airport just after we checked in, but before going through security. Deep amber with lasting creamy beige head. It’s an ok polotmavy style beer, with some fullness from teh extra malt, soft. Some sweetness. Fine and quite drinkable.

Bottle courtesy of the very kind owner of the Aakjaers beer shop in Esbjerg, consumed 07-10-08 I had a lovely time in this great little shop in Esbjerg, the proprietor of this shop (name forgotten, really sorry) was very friendly and helpful we spoke beer for some 10 mins or so and when he totted up my bill he rather generously gave me a discount of some 20% or so because he enjoyed our beer conversation and then as I was leaving the shop thrust a bottle of this beer into my bag to drink on the ferry back to the UK. I never got to drink this on the ferry but here I am tonight enjoying this beer, it poured a murky mid-dark brown with a beige head. Aroma was sticky mollasses and dried fruit and taste not too dissimilar, it was a fine beer and I can see why its liked, it may have been a touch sweet for me but I would very happily drink this again.

Bottle, 5.0%. Citric aroma. Clear pale yellow colour, big white head. The flavour is thin and citric. But clean and not very grainy.

bottle 33cl, strong slightly sour aroma, also some (malt) sweetness in there.. pours dark brown with a light brown head.. flavor is caramel, well balanced swetish flavors i can’t discern (tastes good), bitterness (roasted grain and alc). this is actually quite good.

Medium white lasting head. Pale yellow body with light carbonation. Faint fruity vinegary aroma. Dry-sweet-acidic fruity taste with vinegary notes. Chalky, fizzy mouthfeel. Reminds me of ketchup. Did not enjoy this. (0.3l draft at Lord Nelson, Copenhagen.)

Draught at Hokeren, Copenhagen. Gold, thin white head. Bit of cardboard, but I thought that this was an ok drinkable lager. Had it twice.

label looked sort of foreign, so i expected something belgian, quite surprised to see "skive-denmark" in small letters.. having been already surprised i determined to investigate the label even further... also in small letters.. "light" darn... if this is a low-alc beer, and i thought i heaved a belgian out of the fridge, i’ve been cheated (by myself). ABV acc. to ratebeer 9.6%.. okay.. new meaning of the word light, that i might not know of... clear yellow, small white head. looks quite humble. aroma is a little alc, and not much else. smells like a macro. flavor is sweet, caramel, alcohol, sugar, sweeter part of green fruits, not much bitterness as such, aftertaste a reduced version of flavor. actually okay, but one you might mostly go for, to get drunk ;-)

66cl bottle. Pours dark brown with a sprinkly fading head that leaves no lacings. Nose is sweet of sugar & roasted malts - quite ashy. Medium to thin & sticky palate. Taste has caramel & bread.! Not too keen on the ashyness & quite mediocre overall!!
