330ml bottle. Nice golden body with a rather small off-white head. Aroma has some malt and caramel. Flavor is medium sweet, malty, caramel and some hops. Use to be one of the more interesting Danish macro lager some years ago (before the revolution).

On tap at the Wharf, Aalborg, as Hancock Pilsner. Clear, pale golden with a minimal white head. Grain, hay and some hops in the aroma. The flavor has hay and grain, but also some hops. Thin body and a decent hop-level in the finish. Definately not a beer you must have again and again. (070331)

Bottled. Dark amber, clear, with a dense beige head. Surprisingly weak aroma for a beer at this ABV, quite sweet though, with dried fruits and hops. Full body, with alcohol, sugar, dried fruits, hops and a dash of caramel. Long, bitter finish with quite a lot of alcohol and a wee metallic note. A Danish beer this strong and good, and brewed also before the beer-revolution is quite rear. A nice and warming beer it is. (070405)

Creamy white fair mostly deminishing head. Very pale yellow colour. No aroma. Almost no flavor. Really close too water. Short finish. Exstreme watery palate. This may be the worst danish beer with more than 0,5 ABV!
