Golden; aroma is a little cidery, but otherwise there's some good biscuity malt; which shows in the palate as well. Some background acidity, hint of apple.

Orange-amber color; poor head. Lightly malty and fruity aroma (light banana and more...). Warming, alcoholic, pretty sweet; some malt, caramel and a strange but interesting fruitness. The bitterness just balances the body sweetness, but dominates the strong and long final. Like a Bush, but a bit fruiter.

Bottled. Mahogany coloured with no head. Sugary and fruiy nose. Reasonably malty with notes of raisin and surprisingly light mouthfeel for a beer this strong. Pleasant hoppy finish with some bitterness. Much better balanced than the average Danish strong lager.

A very yellow beer with a fast disappearing head. The aroma is slightly sour because of the brewing cereal used for it. The flavor is a nice powerful pilsener taste - a good sweetnees, very filling because of the alcohol content, a little sourness and ending on a slight bitterness. An OK beer but nothing exceptional.

A light yellow beer with almost no head. The aroma is slightly sour because of the brewing cereal but also contains notes of malt sweetness. The flavor is also slightly sour ending on an OK bitterness. Nothing much - not even a standard pilsener - actually very disappointing since it comes from Hancock.

A dark amber beer with a good head. The aroma is a nice sweet one. The taste is a sweet filling one, of a great malt blend and with a good balance between the sweetness and bitterness - yet not very bitter. It contains hints of alcohol - but nothing compared with the 9.8 abv.

A light amber beer with a small head. The aroma is filling with notes of sweetness, alcohol and spice - typical for strong beers of the pilsner type. At first it fills the mouth and prickles the tongue - very nice - but then the alcohol hits you - and then it''s too much. It is overwhelmingly sweet with no bitterness to balance it of. I''m not a fan of this beer.

Aroma of oak and brown sugar, improves as it warms up. Rich sweet flavour (a bit too sweet?), quite alcoholic but still nice. Hancock obviously have put some real effort into this beer.

Good initial aroma, head disappears quickly. Alcoholic, some bitterness. The Dark is better!
