Description

Golden colour with thin soapy head. Aroma is musty, spicy, yeasty. There's a dominant taste of clove and Szechuan pepper which is unpleasant.

Hazy pale yellow colour with thin soapy head. Aroma and flavour have a floral spiciness. Quite a bitter finish. Ok.

Dark blond colour with a light haze and lasting head. It's a bitter blond with a decent malt body. Dry finish. Not bad.

The “Tripel A” ... extremely black peppery. Say elderflower, which is probably overdone. If they removed all the extra junk in this beer it would be a great strong belgian tripel. Sterk ams

Bottle shared. Bit hazy golden with white head. Light apple, flowery, lots of weird yeast, doughy, some grass, puke. Medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied. Bad. Also not an IPA.

0.33 l bottle from 'Sterk Avondverkoop', best before April 2022. Hazy, golden with a medium large, frothy, stable, white head. Sweetish, gently fruity-floral, slightly yeasty-spicy aroma of lemon peel, peach, some clove and a touch of gooseberry. Slightly sweet, moderately bitter, gently fruity-floral and a bit yeasty-spicy taste of grains, lemon peel, peach, some clove and a touch of gooseberry, followed by a short, slightly bitter, gently yeasty-spicy finish with a touch of cardboard and vegetables. Almost medium-bodied, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Solid Blond, still has that little NHB trademark veggie yeast flavour.
