Description
Four lifelong Oregonians got together on February 13, 2009 and decided that their knowledge of locale and understanding of craft beer could be an excellent starting point for a business. Later that year Hop Valley Brewing had its debut in Springfield, Oregon, but grew too large for its 15-barrel capacity and opened a new 60-barrel brewhouse and taproom in Eugene in 2013. In July 2016 MillerCoors acquired a majority stake of Hop Valley through its Tenth and Blake craft beer and import division. Hop Valley Brewing Company will operate as a separate business unit of Tenth and Blake.

Draft pour at the Beer Authority. Pours a cloudy orange (no way) color with a sweet fruity aroma. Orange and citrus fruit forward flavor. Sweet in a positive way. Mild hops in finish. Tasty. Another solid beer from a brewery I have learned to expect it from. Enjoyed this.

12 oz bottle poured at home. Had to give this one a try since I am so fond of their other IPA work. Pours a bright orange gold color with a big sweet and piney aroma. Nice, semi sweet flavor with a creamy body to it. Has a little orange slices flavor. Refreshing. Finishes with some nice hoppiness to bit, but not bitter. Great IPA. Impressed with these guys so far.

Clear brown colour with quick fading head. Aroma has sweet vanilla and milk chocolate. Flavour is similarly sweet. There’s a lasting roast malt bitterness in the aftertaste.

Bomber from Made in Oregon. Pours hazy gold with a white head. Arroma is citrus zest. Flavor is near perfumy grapefruit with light stone fruit. Malt is lost in the mist. Finishes non-harshly bitter. Not really dry tho. Good stuff.
