Tap at J’s. Pours pitch black with a finger of beige head that lingers. Lots of cacao nib, roasty coffee and malt with raspberry aromas. Very dry on the palate, with bright raspberry flesh and skin. Some bitterness in there as well. Slghtly acrid bitterness and big dryness on the finish with lingering raspberry fruit. Like a drier black forest cake with raspberry. Overall nice. --- Beer merged from original tick of Raznarok on 05 May 2017 at 21:49 - Score: 8. Original review text: Big, deep and rich cacao nib nose with some black forrest cake & raspberry.
