Can 330ml (Beerdome)
Opaque colour, tiny vanishing beige head. Toasted, strong cocoa aroma. Medium to full-bodied. Cocoa, ash, lactose, some vegetables. Strong but I think there is something going wrong here soon ... some nastyness lurkiness.

$3.75 pint can, Beer Run. Slightly hazy golden pour with a bubbly head that quickly fades. Lots of carbonation evident. Aroma is coconut, lime, a bit of barnyard funk. Flavor is lime on top of barnyard funk with a bit - more than a bit - of orange peel. Coconut perhaps is buried giving it the backbone but doesn't stand out. Interesting.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 5/8/2019. Pours very hazy medium golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and rocky white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice dense spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big tangerine, lemon, lime, red grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, red apple, mango, melon, passion fruit, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, dill, coriander, green tea, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of big tangerine, lemon, lime, red grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, red apple, mango, melon, passion fruit, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, dill, coriander, green tea, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, lemon, lime, red grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, red apple, mango, melon, passion fruit, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, dill, coriander, green tea, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy/sticky, and fairly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 6.8%. Overall this is an excellent NEIPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mellowly bitter/resinous/drying finish; nicely soft, and not aggressive. Great Amarillo, Sorachi Ace, Citra, Cascade, Simcoe profile. Very juicy, vibrant, dank, and earthy hop complexity; with a great balanced clean oat/malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and impressively well made style example. Pretty unique with the Sorachi Ace addition, but still works really well with the other hops.

Can pour into goblet from Total Wine & More, Brentwood. Appearance is cloudy dark yellow, light sparkle at the edges of the glass, finger-width foamy head with poor retention. Aroma is dominant tropical fruit, melon, grapefruit, lesser pine and citrus. Taste is mix of sweet and bitter pineapple (like a piece of freshly cut pineapple that includes some bitter rind), melon, orange, mild tropical fruit. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with a thin, smooth texture, soft-to-average carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, the aroma really stands out, but this is strong all around.
