Description
Mlinarica is known for its homely atmosphere. Tables and benches made of solid wood fill the interior of the space, and in the glass part of the pub there is a large fireplace. Every day we offer many homemade dishes, snacks, grilled dishes and homemade desserts, on weekends different baking.

In 2016, next to the brewery, we open a craft brewery and join the Zagreb beer revolution, offering guests top craft beers of different flavors and aromas.

On tap at the brewpub, shared with Iznogud and Hrabren. Darker amber body, white head. Light fruity, tropical aroma, a bit herbal. Nice soft taste, light tropical fruit and bready rye notes. Not much bitterness. Almost no, just some herbal touches. Good beer, somewhat too light, flawless.

On tap at the brewpub. Dark brown coloured, small to medium sized off-white head, weak coffee in the nose. Light roasted malt, caramel, light coffee, notes of grain and faint whiff of smoke in the finish. Nothing more nothing less than drinkable.

On tap at the brewpub. Unclear dark golden coloured, minimal white head, mild malty herbal nose with a whiff of fruits. Malty, bready, bit grainy and herbal hoppy with notes of dust and grain in rather dry finish. Not vienna for sure but very good beer indeed.

On tap at the brewpub. Hazy yellow/golden coloured, minimal white head, mild grainy yeasty nose. Sweetish malty, yeasty, slightly grainy and herbal hoppy with mild sweetness in the finish. Pretty light brew but overall not bad for restaurant/brewpub beer.

On tap at the brewpub. Been available from 1.9. at Mlinarica, visited yesterday. Orange-amber body, slightly pale, misty, atypically for the style, but looks quite nice anyway. Dusty herbal hop aroma, light touch of peach. Herbal hop up front in the taste with light bready undertones, which sometimes get grainy/husky. Vaguely fruity at times. Again, somewhat atypical for the style, maybe a bit yeasty, but not a bad lager really. Really glad they are expanding their range this fast!

Aug ’16. On tap at the brewpub. It poured a hazy yellow body with a persistent, medium sized head. Pretty strong herbal aroma with, to a lesser degree, sugary honey malt. Flavor was lightly sweet, fruity at first and then even more honey malty that built up for the long sweet finish. Somewhere in between resided its herbal bitterness, pleasant but overwhelmed. Medium body. A decent helles, a bit on the sweeter side, but still pleasant and enjoyable.

Aug ’16. On tap at the brewpub. It poured a hazy darker brown body with medium sized head. Caramel and coffee aroma with a touch of licorice. Flavor was lightly sweet and dry, caramel and coffee malty with notable grainy (bready) note. A bit spicy in herbal way, especially that distinct, aforementioned licorice. Quite sticky, syrupy on palate within its medium body. Coffee dominated the finish. More a Schwarzbier than a Dunkel to be exact, but a pretty fine dark lager anyhow.
