30 cL bottle. Pours golden deep hazzlenut brown with a quickly disappearing tan head. Dense malty aroma, nicely roasted and towards breadish. Flavour is rather sweet at first with a more breadish malt flavour following. Has a strange metallic off-note to the malt flavours. Ends bitter and a again with that same metallic and alcohol note.

Bottled. An amber beer with a lazing orangey head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel, and so is the flavor. The finish is dry.

Rated this at august 31th 2008 as Us Heit Het Echte Speltbier, but I think this is the beer I meant. This is what I wrote On tap @ Arendsnest, not sure if this is the same beer. Sold as Us Heit Spelt, ABV 7%. Bit hazy blond beer, white head. Aroma of sweetness, malt, flowers and some medicine. Flavour is very sweet, a bit sour, wort. Didn’t like this at all.
