Pale pink with slight haze. Light body, mellow fruit, lots of bitterness but not much hop brightness.

Has a sticky sort of malt character, herbaceous hops. Kind of Bavarian sort of pils.

Sweet up front then a fair bit of bitterness coming through. Leafy hops, touch of alcohol. Not bad, malts aren’t super bright and neither are the hops but it’s not bad.

Moderate tartness, a little untidy but nothing egregious. Nice stone fruit hops. No way there’s 45 IBUs, that would stand out like a sore thumb here.

Hazy and amber. Fruity, berryish hops. The malts are a bit sticky, maybe a touch of butter in there. Not bad but maybe long in the tooth?

Pale gold, medium head. Clean pale malt nose. Sweet, slight biscuit note, light herbaceous hops. Thick and sticky…close to too much but just in range. I like it better if I think of it as a pale bock, actually.

Got a can because fuck nitrogen. Drank to the Pogues' The Parting Glass because stout. Very dark brown. Just a thin head. Some nice dark chocolate notes, mellow fruitiness, maybe some nuts. Nice touch of roast acidity, again chocolate. The malts are a bit husky, but just a bit. Full body. Moderate (apparent) bitterness...55 is heavy but it doesn't come across that way. Dark gold colour, just a thin head. There's a lot of lime here, and it actually smells saline.Tart, a funny tartness but the salt and lime do round that out a bit. Full body. Not bad.
