473mL can. Pours very dark brown with a beige head. Malts and some nuttiness on the nose. Flavour has dry malts, dusty nuts. Very nice, though not particularly complex.

Can from the brewhouse, listed at 5.3% ABV. Pours a nice stormy brownish copper and quite good solid foam. Lots of cinnamon and malt on the nose, slight clove, a little thin. Taste is mostly malt with some slight herbal notes, maybe that's clove but it's hard to tell. Full but no real carbonation. Nothing stands out here but it's okay.

Nice sturdy off-white foam and a brownish clear gold body. Rancid armpitty hops that totally defy their citrus description. Taset is some bitter hops, slight maltiness; ends full and with okay carbonation. But what I was hoping for wasn't here, it's a rather abrasive malty IPA and not some citrus bomb.

Nice deep black body and okay foam. Soft boozy cabernet aroma, it's there at least, but not working especially well with the stout. Taste is boozy chewy barley, red wine notes, ending dry. Red wine works well here but not especially, them and the stout are still a bit at odds with each other.

Deep brown body and okay foam. Maybe soft coffee on the nose, but rather thin. Taste is an ashy sweet earthiness that is quite nice however, and ends dry. Sweetness absent but those earthy flavours are coming through great.

Good deep copper body and okay foam. Very faint caramel aroma. Taste is heavy rum, wood notes, some underlying maltiness. Ends with good carbonation, boozy. Some things are working well here but it's not totally coming together.

Very mellow caramel aroma on the nose, has clear enough gold and okay foam. Flavour is soft grain and nothing else. Full mouthfeel and smooth character, so at least it works on a hot summer day.

Smells of soft weedy hops with just a hint of molasses. Has mellow brown body with little foam. Flavour is soft caramel and deep molasses. Mouthfeel is full and a little sweetness lingers. It's drinkable enough, straight ahead.
