tap at the brewery - Pours slightly hazy yellow with a white, lacing head. The aroma is grainy malt and some light citrus. It’s a light bodied brew as expected with sweet, grainy malt and mild hops. Decent.

Growler from brewpub. Black body, thick, tan head, mostly lasing. Very nice aroma of roasted malt and dark chocolate with hints of resin, vanilla, toast, sugared milk. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet, moderately bitter and lightly to moderately acidic. Chocolate and roast tastes are up front, riding on top of hints of grapefruit and char. Medium to full body with a velvety texture and moderate carbonation. The alcohol has minimal influence on the aroma or flavor. Straightforward sweet stout that is easy drinking and very enjoyable.

On tap at the Bloomington Beer Festival. Poured a clear dark gold with a white head. Aroma was full of citrus notes (orange) with underlying piney notes. There were more malts present in the flavor leading to a musty pine flavor with a touch of orange.
