0.33 l can from 'Pall Center', best before November 2024. Clear, golden with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, a bit malty aroma of grains, some iron and hints of straw. Gently sweet, moderately bitter, slightly malty taste of grains, light corn flakes, hints of straw and traces of iron, followed by a short, gently bitter, slightly dry finish. Thin to medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay for the style.

0.33 l bottle from 'Drinkshop' (Bereldingen), best before January 2025. Clear, amber with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish-malty, minimally fruity aroma of caramel, some nuts and hints of raisins. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter, minimally fruity taste of caramel, nuts, light honey and hints of raisins, followed by a short, gently bitter finish. Medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Pleasant but far from great. What qualifies this beer to be named 'Grand Cru'?

0.5 l can from 'Cactus' (Redingen), best before March 2025. Clear, golden with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, a bit floral aroma of grains, some straw and traces of corn. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter and minimally floral taste of grains, some straw and traces of corn, followed by a short, gently bitter, slightly dry finish. Almost medium-bodied, gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Drinkable if chilled.
