About
Flensburger Brauerei is one of the last country-wide operating breweries not being part of a larger brewery group. The company was founded on September 6, 1888 by five citizens of Flensburg. Today it is still mainly held by the founder families Petersen and Dethleffsen.

Dark blond colour. Stale, even if it's bb feb 2025, breadish, low bitterness. Not very good.

Bottle.Dark golden colour with medium white head.Aroma of hops and grain nice mild with light sweet after taste of citrus.

Bottle. Pours clear golden with stable white head. Clear aroma of malt, with touches of yeast and hints of hops. Sweetish flavour of malt and yeast, with bitter notes of hops. Bitter, hoppy aftertaste with malty and estery notes. Clean, well-balanced, and non-aggressive, quite unlike the overwhelming majority of beers of this style. Nice.

On tap at Schwarze Pumpe, Berlin. Shared with little Dina. Clear golden, small off-white head. Lean grainy aroma, corn. Light grainy, light grassy and herbal flavour. Light body, quite thin, very dry. Bland. Light finish.

Ha ha ...Cornern... Clear, golden color and a White head. Malty, decent-grainy honey flavors, caramelly. Solid.

0,33 l swing top bottle. Dark golden in the glass, slightly cloudy with a steady and more than one finger white foamy head. You can´t expect more. Grainy caramel aroma, metalic hints.Taste is smooth grainy with caramel, some straw, increasing soft bitterness. Mediocre stuff.
