Pour Is a dark gold with a large white head. Aroma is some grainy malt with a bit of wet paper bag. Flavor is more of the same. Grainy lager malt with an odd plastic aftertaste. Not overly flavorful. This odd plastic comes out of left field and it would have gotten a better score if not for that. A after work beer.

Pour is a dark black with a small tan head. Aroma is a really nice mix of piney hops and a roasted malt. I could smell the beer as I was pouring it out of the can. Flavor is again decently hoppy and roasted malt. Not as strong as the aroma let on but both are there fighting it out on your palate. Black IPA’S are not really my thing but this had an equally nice hop to roasted malt ratio that was quite flavorful.

Can sampled @ “Sir Goatie McGoat S&G Tasting”. Thank you Mathieu87 and/or PriorL! Darker orange with little white head. Nose is orange, quite sweet overall especially for the style, lots of candy, dough & sugar. Taste is overly sweet, grainy, sweet sugar, candy, yeast, dry orange, dough. Overly grainy body. Far too sweet, meh, below average for the style.

Pour is an almost black with a small tan head. Aroms is a nice roasted malt with a little black licorice in there. Flavor is a nice roasted malt with a decent char and ash which drys the mouth out after the swalllow. No sweet sugary malts here this is all about what can be done with a simple malt after the kiln. This is a nice dry and flavorful porter.
