Can. Cinnamon, caramel malt, and straw aroma. Hazy amber with minimal head. Moderately sweet red hot candy (cinnamon), light caramel malt, and very light bitter hay flavor. Decent body. Initially seems like it is going to deliver a spicy hot cinnamon flavor but then mellows. An interesting beer.

Can. Strong cantaloupe/strawberry, caramel malt, and light straw aroma. Hazy amber with small head. Lightly sweet cantaloupe/berry, light caramel malt, and mildly bitter herbal hay flavor. Decent body. Nicely fruity without being a sugar bomb.

Caramel malt and weedy grass/quinine aroma. Hazy amber with small head. Mildly sweet caramel malt and mildly bitter herbal grass flavor. Okay body. Hides its strength well but not too exciting - pretty basic.

Can: Cloudy, amber-brown with a small off-white head. Caramel, mild alcohol aroma. Taste is lightly sweet caramel malt, slightly nutty tones. Soft, herbal/earthy hops... A bit of alcohol dryness and bitter, but well- tempered.... Ok, but comes across as a bit half-hearted.

On tap in a flight at the Custer taproom. Pours black, with a small, beige head. The nose is chocolate syrup, chipotles, black bread, and cloves. Sweet, with a light, pleasant roast bitterness, and a growing, warming spice. Medium body, sharp, chalky, and oily. This is a pretty nice spicy stout. Good aroma, and well balanced flavor. The palate is thin and weak, though.

On tap in a flight at the Custer location. Light gold color, with a small, off-white head. The nose is watermelon jolly ranchers, honeydew, white sugar, and caramel. Sweet and fruity, with a bit of bitterness. Medium body, syrupy, and thick. This is a truly unique, flavorful and interesting beer.

On tap in a flight at the Custer location. Black color, with a ruby tint and a big, foamy, tan head that sticks around. Nose of chicory, dark roast coffee, burnt toast, and cocoa. Sweet and malty, with a strong roasty bitterness. Medium to heavy body, dry, astringent, and harsh. This is a pretty aromatic porter, with a mediocre flavor and poor mouthfeel.
