Bottle thanks to Cuso a little bit past bb date (sorry). Almost black with big fluffy off white to beige head. Lots of piny hops, light soapy and flowery with a light dry coffee touch underneath. Some sour red berries and herbs towards the finish. Taste is light bitter and sour with very light sweetness. Under medium bodied with slight fizzy carbonation. Maybe this should have been drunk earlier, but it’s also infected or something, the sourness doesn’t really work here.

Bottle from trade with Cuso, many thanks! Sehr dunkel orangebraune Farbe, große beige Schaumkrone. Geruch nach viel Kaffee, sehr hopfig, bitter. Geschmack trocken röstmalzig, viel Kaffee, im weiterem Verlauf deutlich hopfiger, leicht bitter, anschließend wieder mehr Kaffee.

Bottled, thanks gurthnar! Dark brown, rich firm head - looks delicious! Grapefruit, elderflowers and licorice fills the nose. Mid sweet with medium-full body and well rounded mouthfeel. Earthy licorice, coffee, grapefruit and tangerine, notes of molasses. Long really bitter finish. Dense, mellow and richly flavourful.

Paleish amber colored, clear, low to medium strong white head, nice lacing. Aroma is of caramel malt and strong citrus and tropical fruits. Taste is caramel malt, medium- hoppy citrus and tropical fruits. Medium- bitterness. Low+ bodied, moderate carbonation. Nice aroma but a bit thin bodied, also could use more hops and bitterness.

Dark brown to black, small tan head. Aroma is some caramel, chocolate, roasted malts, strong blackcurrant and some citrus. Taste is low to medium sweet caramel, chocolate, roasted malt with a roasted dry finish. Citrus and floral moderate- strong aroma and bitterness. Aftertaste is coffee-roasted bitter. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Good but as always more aroma hops wouldn’t hurt.

Tap at Stupavar. Hazy golden to orange colour. Aroma and taste both quite intensely hoppy, slightly garlicy, mosaical, tropical fruits. High carbonation helps the easy drinkability and helps the hops flavour come out. Maltiness subdued, bitterness above moderate. Long dry fruity finish. Very good.

Poured from a bottle courtesy of my Secret Santa. Aroma is malty with a lot of toasted bread and caramel. Some light floral herbal notes. Moderately strong fruitiness with stone fruit and pear. A light vegetal note and a bit of burnt plastic. Pours a gushing amber brown with a huge, rocky tan head that falls upon itself then lingers for a bit. High lacing and small legs. Moderate lacing and smallish legs. Flavor is slightly sweet but also moderately acidic with some tart cherry notes. Some toasted bread and nuttiness. Moderate bitterness. A light vegetal note with some off, mineral character. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium high to high carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a bad beer with a tart flavor showing a sure sign of infection. I’m not sure why, but these eastern European breweries seem to have issues with their sanitation.
