Jun. ’14. A 1 l plastic bottle kindly shared by the Slovakian RB crew, thanks! It poured hazy copper body with small head. Some orange and herbal hop aroma, nicely malted with bread. Flavor was lightly bitter, only a bit malty with touch of caramel over herbal notes. Thin in body with moderate bitter finish. Not bad, although watery and quite boring.

Bottle [from Euro Swap thanks to MisoW] @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus. Hazy orange golden color, full sized white head. Aroma is malts, hops, lightly mandarin. Taste malts, hops, decently fruity, mandarin, nicely bitter. I’m positively surprised. Decent body and carbonation. Pretty enjoyable!

Stupavar Ďumbeer 12° - SK - Spice - 5% - 3.3/5
Dark gold, slightly hazed, big creamy white head, spicy nose. Ginger spikes out immediately together with rosemary, lavender, sage, leafy hops. Solid pale malts backbone. After taste is incredibly hashish-like, how surprising. Taste is sweet, low carbonation, medium bodied. Medium-long finish, spicy.

Jun ’14. A 1 l plastic bottle kindly shared by the Slovakian RB crew, thanks! It poured hazy amber, lightly copper body with a quite small head. Aroma of toasted malt like caramel and toast, a bit of burnt sugar. Herbal hops were here as well. Bitter flavor, hops tend to balance it out much more now with malt notes being less sweet than in nose, but still toasted. Not bad. Medium bodied, moderate finish, follows the flavor being rather short and notably on the bitter side. Although simple it was quite fine and pleasant polotmavy.

Jun ’14. A 1 l plastic bottle kindly shared by the Slovakian RB crew, thanks! This one poured hazy golden body with a tiny head. Ginger aroma, but not really too harsh, mellowed with biscuit and bread malt. Flavor was lightly sweet but also lightly bitter from the other side, where both components from the nose are constantly competing. Medium to thinner in body - it was not easy to taste it after heavy ales, but definitely a good summer refreshment. More ginger in the finish, of course like a harsher lemon, not like in these ugly ginger beers. Interesting and well made, as much as it can be.

Bottle thanks to Cuso. Pours dark brown tan head. Nose/taste of tree bark, dark malt, cocoa, medicinal notes, dirt and grass and nutty bread. Lighter bodied. Definitely nothing even close to a IIPA.
