Pint can, courtesy of MicroGrog, pours with deep dark mahogany colored body that supports a long lasting light brown head of foam. The aroma offers up malt nuanced dark roasted malts, spicy to pine like hops, toasted dark bread and spicy black licorice. The taste delivers rich malts moving into deep dark roasted malts with various vague to spicy bitter hops. This is bold and big and boozy in all the right places. Solid.

355ml bottle. Smooth, slightly roasty and dry earthy with hints of citrus, pine, licorice and coffee, mild bitterness in the finish. Easy going black IPA that could've used a bit more of everything
