Description
Brutal brewing was established in 2011. It is an initiative of employees of one of Sweden’s leading breweries – Spendrups. Brutal Brewing is controlled and operated by employees of Spendrups on a “free time” basis.
We all have regular day jobs in the brewery. Our committed group consists of clerks and brewers that share the same core belief. Our simple mission is to create great brews and have fun.
That pretty much sums it up. Hopefully, this means that we can share some fun times with you.

Can. Yellow colour with a white head. Slightly citrus nose. Medium malt flavour with hints of citrus. I wish they had made a litte bit more out of this one, could have been really good.

Boks 0,33l fra Kilpishalli. Drukket hjemme 24 Mai 11. Veldig lys gylden. OK kremaktig hvitt skum. OK aroma: Litt malt & litt krydder. Lite kullsyre. Smaken brukbart sammensatt: Korn, malt og litt søt frukt. Glir over i en god tørr & bitter ettersmak - som varer lenge. En positiv overraskelse.

330 ml bottle bought @ Systembolaget and consumed on November 21. Pours chestnut brown with a light brown head that leaves lots of trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is slightly sweet, malty and refreshing with bergamot oil, resin, lemon zest and orange zest. there is also a slight staleness to the smell but it’s well hidden under the layers of hops. Taste is slightly sweet, slightly sour and quite bitter with pine, resin, unripe peaches and lots of citrus zest. There’s also some slight notes of coffee and that staleness from the smell that carries on to the taste. Finish is slightly sweet and slightly bitter. Quite good considering who makes it.
