Murky brown with no head at all. Nice caramel aroma with some raisins. Sweet taste with a low bitter finish. Nice unusual dubbel.

Donkergeel bier met schuim. Smaak is bitterzoet en vrij kruidig met iets van honing, wat bloemen en een vleug sinaasappel en banaan. Heel goed concept en ook nog eens heel geslaagd.

Bottle 33cl. @home poured into a shaker. Clear medium golden colour, good but loose frothy white head, good retention, fair lacing. Shy aroma, sweet malts, grain, pineapple, light lemon (also retronasal), honey, floral hops. Taste medium sweet and below medium bitter, malty, grainy, lemon peel, candy sugar, bit honey. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, dry sweetbitter aftertaste, grainy notes, bit cardboard, well-made though too sweet but okay.

Bottle 33cl. @home poured into a tumbler. Huge soapy white head, hazy pale golden colour, diminishing slowly, light lacing. Aroma wheat, yeast, lemon, coriander, grassy hops. Taste medium sweet and bitter, light citrusy touch, wheat, yeast, lemon, spicy notes. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation, dry sweetbitter aftertaste, light acidic touch, grainy, bit chalky, okayish effort, could use more citrus and spices.
