Can. Black with a righteous beige head. Aroma of cocoa, chocolate milk, roasted malts, brown sugar and yes maybe even hints of vanilla. Taste of cocoa, roasted malts, milk chocolate, liquorice and some tart dark fruits. Moderate to strong liquorice-powered bitterness. Medium carbonation. Slightly creamy but mostly watery. Enjoyable.

Can 33cl. @home poured into an English pint glass. Pitch black with a faint ruby hue, tall creamy tan head, good retention, heavy lacing. Aroma roasted malts, cocoa powder, dark chocolate, coffee, hint of vanilla. Taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, roast, chocolate, coffee groundings, liquorice, burnt caramel as well as dark fruits in the background. Medium body, watery to oily texture, soft carbonation, sweetbitter aftertaste, lingering light roast, a good classic dry stout.

Can on 712 to the Ness, thanks to the Wingman, 25/02/23. Lightly hazed orange yellow with a decent white head. Nose is orange zest, grass, melon, pine nip, soft malts. Taste comprises melon, papaya, tangerine, sweet malts, grass. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Okay easy drinking pale.
