Description
"Over a decade ago I gave up alcohol due to a medical condition. But I missed my beer. I missed the taste of beer and discovering new beers, especially new craft beers. But more than that, I found that I missed the social connection that comes from sharing a drink with a colleague after a hard days work, cracking a beer with the guys after hockey, and joining in to celebrate special occasions with family and friends.
So a friend suggested that I try non-alcoholic beer. The problem is most of the non-alcoholic beer I tried tasted awful and there really was almost nothing in terms of variety. Unfortunately the long-standing stigma surrounding non-alcoholic beer has been well deserved.
That is until now!
I launched Partake Brewing to bring all the things that make craft beer great to non-alcoholic beer drinkers including taste, variety, authenticity, creativity, and passion. Non-alcoholic beer drinkers want to Partake in the craft beer journey with everyone else. Why? Because we’re beer lovers too."

355ml can. Pours a clear gold-amber with a medium, foamy, long lasting, off-white head that laces. Mild, sweet aroma of toasted caramel malt, orange peel and piney hops. Sweet flavour of grainy caramel malt and grapefruit peel in a dry, bitter, piney hop finish. Light body with a thin, watery texture and average carbonation. A pretty solid near beer. Refreshing and enjoyable.

Can at Ryan's
Dark brown colour. Dry, moderate roast, a bit weak, maybe some light cardboard, but it doesn't even taste much like an NA. Not bad.

Poured from 355mL can (from Whole Foods). Medium dark brown with minimal beige head. Grain and toast malt, pretty boring, but at least inoffensive.

355mL can, pours a dark amber brown with a tan head. Aroma brings out toasted malt, earthy grains and some cardboard. Flavour is watery, with gentle toasted malt, some earthiness, and graininess. Watery and useless, but inoffensive. It's a tick.

Pours with okay brown body and modest foam. aroma is not bad hops, soft malt. Taste is a nice malt and hop combination, ends still a little thin. It's not bad, much better than most brown ales without alcohol.

12 ounce can from Total Wine Brookfield,10/12/21. Dark brown, near black large tan head, good retention. Aroma of nuts, soy, cat food. Uh oh. Taste is nuts, grain, piney hops, dark fruits. Thin Aroma is downright offensive but it tastes decent. These days, that is not good enough for a NA beer. First Alberta rating in over 13 years.
