From a 500ml can on 17/11/2024. Pours a cloudy dirty golden with a medium head. The aroma is punchy citrus with some tropical notes in the mix. This one is a touch odd on the sip - sharp, zesty, spicy citrus which lingers all the way through to the finish, which just a touch harsh. Silky mouthfeel with average carbonation. Just a little too rough around the edges for mine.

From a 500ml can on 10/11/2024. Pours a dirty hazy golden with a medium head. Those nose features lots of citrus and stone fruit. Tastes of orange, tangerine, peach and passionfruit, finishing with a nice zesty bitterness that balances things out very nicely indeed. Silky mouthfeel with moderate to average carbonation. Very nice stuff.

Can. Opaque yellowish orange with a cm of white head. 3+ A citrus edge to the stone fruit and chewed bread aroma keeps it beer-like. And the citrus gives it structure and keeps it from seeming either too sweet or paste-like on the palate. A little herbal with modest bitterness at the end. Good but a little wearing towards the end.

Tap at Takanoya. PAle gold with a thick head. Noses of grapefruit, light coconut, pineapple. Light, tart, crisp, not a full-on hazy, but pretty tasty. Not completely fresh.

From a 500ml can on 23/10/2024. Pours a dirty hazy golden with a biggish foamy head. The nose features lightly sharp citrus and a good dash of coconut. It's relatively sweet and quite sharp up front with tangy citrus and berries presenting, with lots of coconut in the background. There's more tang in the modest bitterness in the back. Has a lightly creamy mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Has a good dash of character. Enjoyable.

Aromas of orange peel, grapefruit and passionfruit. The grapefruit comes through most strongly on tasting. Body is just a bit lacking. Pot from Miss Moses.

I ordered this online in Australia and my sister brought it over for me! This was the closest I could come to an Australian Halloween beer… Mountain Culture x Brix Rum Barrel Aged Doppelbock 8.4% Gold color with soapy off-white foam foam hat gwe big bubbles and didn’t linger. I expected it to be darker colored so was a bit surprised. It’s got a great big malty aroma of molasses and sweet malts. Rum but sweet rum as in like rum raisin ice cream. Full bodied but dry. The taste is sweet malts then rum then crisp doppelbock lager goodness. This is great.
