From a 500ml can on 4/1/2021. Pours hazy deep golden with a medium head. The nose features some sharp zesty citrus. Tastes quite sweet up front, lots of orange, with hints of mandarin and apricot. Finishes with a tangy citrus bitterness, with some lingering zest and spice. Has a lovely creamy mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Juicy, excellent.

From a 500ml can on 29/12/2021. Pours a hazy medium golden with a medium head. Features a light citrus fruit nose with a hint of spice. On the sip, there's medium sweet citrus and a light, slightly spicy bitterness, but no real sign of the extra IBUs mentioned in the blurb on the can. Has a silky mouthfeel with moderate to average carbonation. Decent but unexciting.

From a 355ml can on 23/12/2021. Pours a hazy light golden with a smallish head. Has a light tropical and citrus nose. Tastes of orange, peach and a bit of passionfruit, with a medium spicy bitterness. Has a silkyand slightly pillowy mouthfeel, with moderate carbonation. Easy drinking, nicely balanced and quite moreish. And badged with the logo of the place where I buy 80% of my beer. An all round winner!

From a 500ml can on 21/12/2021. Pours a hazy light golden with a smallish head. Has a mild sour fruit and yeasty nose. Has some mild sweet fruit in the background but it's primarily moderate, slightly puckering sour, with elements of lemon, lime and wine grapes prominent. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Might be quite refreshing on a hot day, but ultimately leaves me wanting a quality non-sour hazy.

From a 500ml can on 6/12/2021. Pours a murky deep golden with a medium head. Has a strong nose of ripe tropical fruit with some dankness. Tastes rich, thick and fruity with orange, apricot, peach, mango and a hint of coconut, finishing with a medium tangy bitterness. The mouthfeel is pillowy and creamy, the carbonation moderate. Not quite as sweet as many oat creams, but the balance is superb. A wonderful beer.

Can. Clear pale gold with a loose, fading white head. 3- Strange boot polish and citrus aroma with light bread, feijoa. Taste has more of a lean towards tropical fruit. Sweet, light bodied, fairly clean, then fruity - like a tropical boiled lolly - with a finish that's fairly dry and bitter with resin and spices. Incoherent. Hoppy but just a jumble. A credibility buster.

From a 500ml can on 30/11/2021. Pours a murky golden with a medium head. The nose is tropical and quite dank. On the sip, it begins with some indistinct medium sweet fruitiness against a tangy background, finishing slightly spicy and dry. The mouthfeel is silky, the carbonation moderate. Okay but a very long way from MC's best.

From a 500ml can on 22/11/2022. Pours a murky very deep golden with a smallish head. The nose is quite muted for such a big beer - just a whiff of citrus and over ripe tropical fruit. The flavour features lots of sweet apricot, with a dash of orange, and finishes with a warming bitterness that has both a dash of tang and spice. Has a silky mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Enjoyable enough but perhaps lacks a bit of definition. Decent but not great.

From a 500ml can on 4/11/2021. Pours a murky deep golden with a biggish head. Has a big fruit salad nose. Has lots of tropical sweetness up front (pineapple, mango, melon, kiwifruit), finishing with a sharp tang with a distinct hint of the advertised champers. I don't get the cake, but I'm not complaining. The mouthfeel is thick, the carbonation average. A sumptuous and delicious brew.

From a 500ml can on 30/10/2021 (shared with Butz). Pours near black with a medium tan head. Smells of choc fudge brownie. On the si, there's masses going on - lots of milk chocolate, caramel, brownie, cookie dough, nuts, a touch of coffee and hints of dark and dried fruit. Finishes with some reasonably firm and sharp roasty notes at the back. The mouthfeel is silky and creamy, the carbonation moderate. Perhaps just short of dessertish, but only just. Intense, complex, balanced, interesting and utterly endearing. Paid more than $25 for the can but one of those rare ones that's worth it. Just outstanding.
