Bottled@CPH BF 2013. Pale hazy yellow colour, not much head. Aroma is cellar, metal and some mild saltyness along with some grains. Flavour is fruity, earthy, cellary with some malts in a quite ok balance, Refreshing summer beer, although it could do with a better aroma...

Draught at KØ13 as Jydske Bryghuse Ale No 1. Hazy dark brown colour. Very small white head. The flavour is citric and malty. Seems a little infected.

Sampled at Ølfestival København 13, as Jydske Bryghus Ale No.1, 5.3% abv. Thin tan-coloured head over coal black body. Malty and dried fruits on the nose. Brown, black and earthy malts in the flavour profile. Resin-like bitterness to the ending. Decent brown ale version (Tap 1, Copenhagen 25.05.2013).

Bottle 50 cl. Murky and opaque orangey brown with a creamy off-white head. Yeast and bubblegum in the nose, combined with overripe fruit and banana. Medium body, yeast, vitamins and herbs in the flavout. Hardly any bitterness. But not bad at all for the style. 100613

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear dark brown with quite an orange hue and a dissipating beige head. Aroma of brown sugar. Medium body, a litle cocoa powder but burned caramel dominates. Very subdued hops. Again clean and well brewed but without much character or personality. 100613

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a pale yellow, very cloudy - think Hoegaarden - with a small whiteish head. Sulphur, hay and yeast in the nose - with a tart whiff. Medium body, sweet malty, again hayish with very subdued hops. But clean and well brewed. Not brewed in Vejle though, most likely somewhere in Germany. 100613
