500 ml can, shared by abemorsten, as St: Michaelsberg Pilsener. Maisel is not mentioned on the can. ABV is 4.8%. Pale golden colour, moderate white head. Sweetish aroma, notes of malts, honey and dust, a hint of over-ripe fruits. Soft mouthfeel. The flavour has a noticeable presence of both malts and hops, but they are both quite moderate.

Tap, as Mad Viking Imperial Stout. Pours opaque black with a small tan head that leaves some lacing. Aroma is coffee, dark roasted malts and a touch of raisin. Flavor is medium sweet coffee, dark chocolate, a bit of fruit, and an alcoholic finish that diminishes as the beer airs. Body is medium.

Can 50 cl. Pours a cloudy opaque golden with a creamy white head. Bananaish, yeasty aroma with some butter and cardboard lurking underneath. Medium body, very soft mouthfeel, yeast, fruit and again these cardboard accents. Slightly tart. Rather poor - clearly a discount Hefe. 140812

Can 500ml. @ home on the terrace.Murky matt medium orange colour with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light malty, wheat, light hoppy, grass, fruit, moderate yeasty, banana, clove, fruit. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light bitter with a long duration, fruity, banana, clove, light dry grass. Body is medium, texture is creamy, carbonation is soft. Fresh and vey nice hefe and cost is only 8,- Dkr. good value ;O) [20120713]
