Tap at Roberto’s Bar and Tasting Club, Birmingham. Poured a clear almost black colour with a bubbly off-white head. The aroma is roasty malt, orange citrus, chocolate. The flavour is moderate to light sweet, with a rich, roasty, light liqourice, light orange, milky chocolate lactose palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Nice, but the orange dominated the chocolate. I’d have preferred it the other way around.
