Description
Away Days was launched in 2018 by beer and football fan, Josh Bartlett, with the sole aim of creating football themed beers that through player pun names and eye catching branding, would be appealing to a wider demographic of drinker.

Having watched his beloved Ipswich Town lose on a cold Tuesday night back in 2017, the idea of football beers came to mind, with the first beer name idea being “Boncho” after the 90’s Bulgarian player, Boncho Genchev. The idea of ordering a pint of Boncho was an idea that stuck and thus the quest to launch Away Days began.

Beers in the range are brewed across four different unknown breweries.

5/5/2024. Can from The Arbor House, Ipswich. A fitting beer to enjoy the day after ITFC’s second successive promotion, this time to the promised land of the Premier League. Pours clear pale golden with a short lasting frothy white head. Aroma is starchy, herbal, grainy, citrus, grass, straw. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness and body. Average carbonation. The promotion was better than the beer.
