Bottled. Hazy yellow colour, white creamy head. Flowery and citric aroma. Very sweet flowery fruity flavour. Almost too sweet, but the more you drink the more pleasant it gets. Dry fruitish aftertaste.

Hazy orange color, creamy white head. Herbal, flowery nose, maybe "hyldeblomst"? Lemony, fruity, a bit sour, witbier-like flavor. Bitter aftertaste. Interesting organic ale.

(Bottle 75 cl) Beautiful, dark amber, almost clear with a small, beige-coloured head. Lightly sweet caramel aroma. Nice notes of caramel and nuts and loads of roasted malt. Quite dry and bitter finish. Partially brewed with oats and buckwheat. Brewed to celebrate the 200th birthday of H.C. Andersen. Comes with a Range of different labels with motives from HCs fairytales. Basically this is a Brown Ale. 080705

Bottled at RBESG. Dark golden. Aroma of severely burnt blueberry pie. Sweet with rounded mouthfeel, more ash than blueberries. Short finish. Not overly interesting.

(Bottle 75 cl) Slightly hazy, orange beer with a light, reddish tint and an off-white head. No realt feel of malt, rather thin-bodied. Weak sweetness but also some acidic notes - from the cherries I believe. The cherry flavours are very discreet but definitely present. Quenching all right but far from being a great fruit beer. 180605

A hazy amber beer with a thin lazing beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of yeast and caramel and notes from the warm fermentation slightly estery. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw and caramel as well as hints of spices. The body is slightly thin.
Earlier Rating: 1/3/2005 Total Score: 2.8
A hazy red-brown beer with a dense but disappearing light brown head. The aroma is yeasty, but also with notes of caramel and hay. The flavor is very sweet with notes of caramel, yeast, hay, and hints of roastyness, that leaves a little dryness in the cheeks, but the body is thin.
Earlier Rating: 12/27/2004 Total Score: 3.1
An unclear red-brown beer with a small very fast disappearing head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of oranges and lesser notes of yeast, caramel, and brewmash. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel and oranges leading to a rather dry hoppy end. Unfortunately the body is thin.

(Bottle 33 cl) Vintage 2004. Hazy amber coloured beer with a greyish touch. Head is completely absent. Malty, slightly sweet - I imagine I can actually taste the honey - and a touch of hops in the finish. Comes a bit flat and sloppy - as if the brewer had a bad day. 160105
