Bottle. Cloudy dark yellow sporting a big white bubbly head. Aroma of yeast, malts, dough and lemons. Taste is all that with a little hint of salt though maybe that‘s just my Imageination. Slightly tart. Low to medium bitterness. Medium carbonation. Ok, I feared worse.

Mein erstes Bier im Urlaub, das ich bei einer kleinen Take-away-Pizzeria in Pisa entdeckte. Es soll angeblich etwas salzig nach der Luft in Messina schmecken, wovon ich aber nichts merke (ist vielleicht auch besser so...). Es ist ein leichtes Sommerbier ohne viel Tiefgang oder Aromentiefe, dafür gemütlich zu trinken zu Pizza und Pasta, mehr nicht, basta.

Bottle from Cafe Class, Horsell. Malty yeasty aroma with a touch of sourness. Copper gold. Bubbly white head - a 5 mm band around the rim. Initial sweet edged sourness. Malts come through in the underbelly. It's not overly sweet but the sourness is more curdled milk than tart fruit. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Fizzy carbonation. Astringent finish. As far as lagers go it's OK. At least it has some character.

50cl bottle from Carrefour Express, Rome. Pours hazy golden with a white head. Mild grainy aroma with fruity notes, wheat and hints of salt. Moderate to medium sweet with acidic and salty notes. Not bad, fairly pleasant, but nothing memorable.

Bottle shared at tasting. Clear golden color with a medium sized white head that lasts for a decent while. Aroma and flavor are malts, lightly bitter, lightly sweet. Average body and carbonation. Mwah.

Flesje gedeeld met Tomhendriksen en Benzai. Goudgeel helder bier met matig schuim. Aroma is moutig en gist-achtig. Smaak is zoet en fruitig. Weinig nasmaak.

Fles gedeelt door Inoven geprobeerd met Benzai. Het is een helder goudgeel bier met een medium witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een moutige wat banaan achtige geur. De smaak is moutig zacht zoet met bananen en gist tonen.
