Double thanks to Degarth for a bonus beer that was also on my wants list! Brilliantly clear deep gold color that easily raises a long lasting sticky white head. Lemony sour aroma with plenty of malt underneath. Sweet, well balbnced with just enough hop bitterness and a nice touch of dryness in the finish. Solid, with plenty of body that makes this one a keeper.

Thanks to Degarth for this one! The Stork pours with a dark yellow body that holds up a long lasting, creamy, bone-colored head. Rich bready, doughy malt aroma that is supported by a flowery hops. Slight sweetness that is balanced by a good hop bitterness underneath. A bit soapy, but there is lots of body for the style here that make this quite enjoyable.

Bottle. Sour stale wheat malt aroma. Cloudy orange-yellow with moderate but quickly collapsing head. Sour stale wheat malt flavor primarily - slight vinegar and banana flavors as well. Probably quite a bit better when fresh. A bit below average when compared to the style as a whole but not too bad - a rare beer style for Czech.

Deep dark black with thin moka head. Sweet smokey malt with a bit of pumpkin spices in aroma. In mouth, roasted coffee with smoked notes, peaty in character, rich and interesting, veering on Rauschbeer style. Nice. Baugth at Sam’s Wine, Chicago. 1.99$

Nutty aroma, and a slight nutty and malty flavor, but in my opinion it is far too weak to be really enjoyed, might have been just my bottle.

(bottle) Darkest brown to black colour with a brown foamy medium head. Slightly sweet and heavy toasted malts aroma with caramel, dark chocolate and a whiff of hops, also coffee. Sweetbitter flavour, medium body, smooth carbonation and mouthfeel. Strong roastmalty taste that lingers into the finish with bitter chocolate, coffee and liquorice, dry and lasting hopbitter finish. Complex, excellent and perfectly rounded Schwarzbier.
